In 2024, Workplace Series Africa hosted the students at Heels and Tech, an Edtech company equipping women with the necessary in-demand tech skills for the future.
This program was designed to empower students to evaluate their unique personality through a brand assessment test, boost their confidence and enhance their professional presence with the acquired skills at Heels and Tech.
The event brought together students from various backgrounds and various fields of study, who shared their challenges in not amplifying their voices.
The session led by Itoro Lawrence, founder of Workplace Series Africa, featured interactive sessions, personality test, discussion, brand analysis, content strategy, crisis management and monetisation.
We are in an era where everyone is acquiring one tech or digital skill or the other. What makes you different from the others learning the same skill? This is the reason personal branding is the answer; it is a crucial skill for students to prepare for the global stage and recognition,” said Itoro Lawrence, Marketing Communications, Workplace Series Africa
Participants gained insights on the myths of personal branding, communication strategies for brand building, and how to create a compelling narrative that is unique to their career journey.
Workplace Series Africa is supporting growth and development where individuals can earn and work conveniently through its online programs and resources. The personal branding session is part of the company’s initiative to boost career and business growth that aligns with the changing yet digital world demands.
